KYN

Product presentation
The KYN Total knee Prosthesis with fixed bearing is designed to enable tricompartimental knee replacement by resurfacing.

Details

  • Its constant radius of curvature from deep extension to 110 flexion ensures the implant stability and reduces patellar stress, while improving the implants kinematic and the flexion range.
  • Its single medio-lateral radius on the femoral component increases femoro-tibial congruence, allowing enhanced stability and even stresses distribution and reducing PE wear.
  • An intracondylar with early engagement on the tibial bearing during flexion ensures postero-stabilisation and replication of the natural femoral rollback.
  • The absence of femoral box on the PS femoral component enables minimal femoral bone resectionand reduces femur weakening.
  • Tibial extension stems available in different sizes.
  • KYN total knee system is available in both posterior stabilized (PS) and cruciate retaining (CR) versions, in cemented and uncemented (Titanium + HA) finishing.
  • Anatomical femoral components and tibial trays available in 8 sizes, in CoCrMo alloy along with the 1 up and down tibiofemoral sizing interchangeability, enabling an optimal fit to the patient's morphology.
